The digital spaces we inhabit shape our habits, relationships, and collective future. The question is: what kind of digital ecosystems do we want to cultivate together?
We envision a network of sovereign, community-managed islands—privately owned servers, deeply interconnected through shared values and open communication, thriving beyond the dominant extractive culture.
Linux Server
A well‑maintained Linux operating system running on a private server owned by the community—not rented from Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Google, or any other cloud provider—is what makes true ownership possible, breaking the dependency on extractive data centers.
NextCloud Hub
An open source software providing secure file storage, shared calendars, contacts, and collaborative documents—all through NextCloud. Our work sits at the centre, never an advertising model, with no surveillance and no lock‑in.
Email Server
A dedicated email server where conversations remain ours alone, free from corporate data mining. No scanning, no profiling—just an inbox that respects the confidentiality our work and life deserve.
WordPress Websites
A public or internal web presence on infrastructure that respects privacy and refuses to extract visitor data. No trackers, no third‑party scripts—just a space that reflects the values we live by.
Kamyar
Kamyar has worked with Linux and open-source systems for more than twenty years, setting up and tending private, privacy-respecting servers. Alongside this, he has explored dialogue, leadership, and regenerative practices, learning to approach technology not as something to master or control, but as a living field that invites deeper understanding and careful attention. His work is shaped by a trust in collective and intuitive intelligence—the insights that emerge through listening, relationship, and participation. His aim here is to help create well-tended digital spaces where people and communities can remain stewards of their own digital ecosystem, with care and dignity.
At the heart of this project is the open-source culture—a tradition of collaboration, generosity, and transparency. It guides how we explore, adopt, and share digital tools, from privacy-respecting solutions such as Nextcloud server packages to platforms that support community research and participation. By working in the spirit of open source, we contribute to a growing ecosystem of accessible, ethical, and community-driven technologies and shared knowledge.
